Academy Award-nominated actor Dennis Quaid has been cast to play former President Ronald Reagan in an upcoming biopic titled "Reagan." The film, directed by Sean McNamara, will chronicle Reagan's life from his early days as an actor to his two terms as President of the United States.

Quaid's casting has been met with praise from Reagan's family and supporters. Reagan's daughter, Patti Davis, said, "I'm thrilled that Dennis Quaid has been cast to play my father. He's a wonderful actor and I know he'll do a great job." Former President George H.W. Bush also praised Quaid's casting, saying, "Dennis Quaid is a great choice to play Ronald Reagan. He's a talented actor and I'm confident he'll bring Reagan to life on the big screen."
